MTB Magnetic Chuck for Milling Processing Catalog

Reduce setup time with one-touch clamps and consolidate processes by minimizing tool interference!

The MTB magnetic chuck clamps the workpiece at high speed from below with strong magnetic force. Additionally, it has minimal interference with fixtures, allowing for five-sided machining with a single chucking, and can be freely arranged using multiple units to match the machine table.

[Free Case Study Available] Improving Productivity in Machining Using Magnetic Vices for Cutting

We will provide a collection of successful cases of improved productivity for free! With Mag Vise, it is possible to shorten setup time and process multiple items simultaneously.

Amid rising various costs, there is a strong demand for reducing production costs. MagVice instantly clamps workpieces using magnetic force generated by lever operation or electricity. This significantly shortens the setup time, which is often time-consuming. Additionally, compared to traditional vises, it can clamp more workpieces, greatly improving processing efficiency and shortening delivery times. When hearing about clamping with magnets, there may be concerns about workpieces moving or chips adhering to the workpiece and interfering with cutting tools. However, if used correctly, there is absolutely no need for such worries. First, we have compiled a collection of processing examples as a MagVice processing case study. We would appreciate it if you could take a look. There is a link on this page for easy downloading. We also have various demo units available. We can bring them to customers for actual processing tests, free of charge. However, please prepare the machine and workpieces. Our sales team will carefully explain the properties of magnets and how to use them to process workpieces more efficiently and effectively.

Projection Magnet

Recommended for retrieving items from chaotic stacks! The adhesive power does not decrease even on rough surfaces like castings.

The "Projection Magnet" is a magnetic chuck suitable for retrieving randomly stacked workpieces. Due to the protruding pole at the center of the chuck, the workpiece is less likely to detach, and even if the workpiece tilts, the coordinated adhesion with the surrounding chuck prevents it from falling off. Additionally, the tip of the protruding pole has a spherical shape, providing stable adhesion strength. 【Features】 ■ Ideal for retrieving randomly stacked workpieces ■ Less likelihood of workpiece detachment due to the protruding pole at the center of the chuck ■ Adhesion strength does not decrease even with rough surfaces like castings ■ Prevents detachment through coordinated adhesion with the surrounding chuck even if the workpiece tilts ■ The tip of the protruding pole has a spherical shape, ensuring stable adhesion strength *For more details, please refer to the external link page or feel free to contact us.

Permanent Electromagnetic MTB Magnet Chuck for Milling Processing

We can add counterbore holes and keyway machining to the additional processing area according to your specifications.

We have changed the model of the milling magnetic chuck that has been on sale since May 2010 and have started manufacturing and selling it as the MTB series. In milling operations, a strong holding force is necessary because the cutting thrust is not unidirectional. The magnetic poles of the MTB magnetic chuck use powerful neodymium magnets, generating a strong holding force of 6150N. The magnetic flow goes from the N pole to the S pole through the workpiece, making it less likely for chips to stick to the workpiece. Additionally, compared to hand-tightened fixtures that require tool operation, the magnetic chuck only requires simple button operation, contributing to improved work efficiency. Furthermore, since the workpiece is held from below, there is no concern about tool interference, allowing for process integration (top and contour machining). For more details, please contact us or refer to the catalog.

MTB Magnetic Chuck for Milling Processing (Permanent Electromagnetic Type)

Strong adhesion force 6150N ...but chips are less likely to stick.

In milling processing, a strong adhesive force is required because the cutting thrust is not unidirectional. The magnetic poles use powerful neodymium magnets, generating a strong adhesive force of 6150N. The magnetic field flows through the workpiece from the N pole to the S pole, making it difficult for chips to adhere to the workpiece. For more details, please download the catalog or contact us.
